The Pupil Premium is additional funding for all publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers.
Funding for each financial year
Secondary schools currently receive £985 for each pupil registered as eligible for free school meals at any point in the last 6 years.
The links below provide access to academy plans for, and reports on, the use of pupil premium funding. The Pupil Premium Strategy is used as a tool throughout the academic year to focus resources on students eligible for this support. Outcomes for students in Year 7-10 are reported to governors. A final review of the Strategy is published during autumn term of the following year to enable analysis of final GCSE grades to be considered. Effective practice with clear impact is identified and developed further for the following academic year.
